Shop Local Small Business Week
Thank you to the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting the Shop Local Small Business Kick-off event. Their continued support and partnership has been valuable in helping local small business survive and thrive during this pandemic.
Participating business owners heard from guest speakers representing two well-loved Torrance businesses, Paul’s Photo and Red Car Brewery. They both shared inspiring stories about how they have pivoted their businesses in this challenging environment.
For example, Paul from Paul’s Photo shared an in-depth presentation of all the things his store has done to increase ecommerce sales, safely provided in-person service and adapted towards online teaching. We were happy to hear his account of how social media has been an important part of how they have stayed connected to their customers and even tapped into new streams of revenue from customers who are not locals.
