TOTRAN RADKE

INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (IMAC) BOARDMEMBER FOR RANCHO PALOS VERDES

Active RPV Resident & Passionate Community Leader

Hello, I’m Totran. I am a proud Rancho Palos Verdes resident, homeowner, and small businessowner and I am actively involved in my community as a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, Girl Scout Troop Leader (Troop565 and Troop 9855) and a LittLe Library Steward. These experiences have given me invaluable insights as to the needs of families, children, schools, neighborhoods, and businesses.

I am grateful to be appointed by the RPV City Council to serve as your Advisory Boardmember for the Infrastructure Management Advisory Committee. Since it is my aspiration to serve as a future City Councilmember some day, I recognize the importance of comprehensively understanding our city's infrastructure, financial dynamics, and the diverse array of needs within our community. With my extensive civic engagement and professional background, I hope you will see that I am a well-qualified candidate and that I have a passion for public service.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES

Previously, I served as a Commissioner of Cultural Arts for the City of Torrance, where I helped to integrate the arts into all aspects of civic engagement. During that time, I also founded and served as a Block Captain of Torrance’s Neighborhood Watch Program for Newton Street.

Most recently, I am a member of the Spring 2024 Cohort of the RPV Leadership Academy, which has given me invaluable insights about the city’s operations, programs, departments and facilities. Currently, I am serving as a Block Captain of RPV’s Neighborhood Watch Program for Ironwood Street and advising as a Digital Strategist for a nonprofit, Neighborhood Voices of Silver Spur. I am also the Steward of the Little Free Library on Ironwood, where my kids and I curate books for our library and libraries at public parks. All of these unique experiences have fueled my desire to serve in a leadership role in my city government.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I am a Management Consultant in Strategy and Innovation at Photon, where I advise clients on business strategies and digital transformation solutions to improve their financial and operational health. I am also the President/Consultant of Radar Strategy Group, where I provide local businessowners with digital marketing strategy solutions.

EDUCATION

I have a BA in Political Science from UCLA and an MBA with an emphasis in Project Management from MSMU.

VISION & MISSION

In my leadership role, I hope to share my passion for civic involvement with the community and apply my management consulting expertise to advise City Council on financial matters and issues that impact RPV. I believe I can be judicious and unbiased in evaluating business or financial matters and assessing community infrastructure improvement and maintenence.
